  • Individual Therapy

You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, weighed down by past experiences, or unsure where to begin. Whether you’re navigating recent life stressors or deep wounds from childhood, you’re not alone—and you don’t need to have it all figured out to start. Therapy is a place where you can slow down, breathe, and begin to heal.

I provide individual therapy for women and adolescents who are working through the effects of trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, and relationship transitions. Together, we’ll explore what’s impacting your well-being and create a path forward that feels safe and empowering. You’re welcome to bring your own goals or start with one or two from the list below that speak to you.

~Process and heal from emotional, physical, sexual, or verbal abuse

~Work through the impact of trauma using evidence-based approaches

~Break free from patterns of shame, self-blame, or fear that keep you stuck

~Learn how anxiety and depression show up in your body and how to manage them more effectively

~Begin to rebuild your self-worth and sense of identity after abuse or toxic relationships

~Navigate the emotional toll of divorce, separation, or family disruption

~Develop healthy boundaries in relationships—with partners, parents, friends, or coworkers

~Feel less alone, less overwhelmed, and more grounded in your day-to-day life

~Support for teens struggling with self-esteem, peer issues, academic pressure, or emotional distress

~Build resilience and discover the strength already within you

Therapy is not about fixing you, it’s about helping you reclaim your voice, your strength, and your path forward. You deserve to feel safe, heard, and supported.

  • EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is an evidenced based treatment that has proven effective in the treatment of many conditions. Visit EMDRIA for more information.

Trauma can live in the body long after the danger has passed. You may find yourself reacting strongly to things that don’t make sense, feeling stuck in certain patterns, or reliving painful memories even when you try to move forward. This is where EMDR can help.

My clinical focus includes trauma recovery. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain and body process unresolved trauma and distressing experiences. Whether you’re dealing with a single traumatic event or years of emotional pain, EMDR works by helping you reprocess what’s been stuck so it no longer holds the same emotional charge.

    EMDR is especially helpful for:

~Healing from physical, sexual, emotional, or verbal abuse

~Processing childhood trauma or attachment wounds

~Recovering from emotionally abusive or toxic relationships

~Alleviating the emotional pain and reactivity tied to past events

~Reducing symptoms of anxiety, panic, or emotional overwhelm

~Supporting recovery after accidents, medical trauma, or natural disasters

~Moving through grief and loss when words alone aren’t enough

~Addressing trauma-related beliefs like “I’m not safe” or “I’m not enough”

~Easing the internal tension that keeps you stuck in survival mode

~Helping to process overwhelming experiences you can’t fully explain

You don’t need to relive every detail of what happened to heal from it. EMDR creates a safe and structured space to gently work through your trauma and begin to reclaim your life, one step at a time.

Service Fees

All therapy services are billed at $120 per 55-minute session. Longer sessions are available upon request.

Insurance

I am currently an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies; however, I can provide you with a receipt of service (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please confirm with your insurance company that this is an option with your specific plan.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
