Hi, I’m Leah Zerfoss (she/her),
I’m a licensed clinical social worker/therapist offering individual therapy to women and adolescents across Washington State through telehealth.

Leah Zerfoss, MSW, LSWAIC

My approach is rooted in the belief that healing begins with connection. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, seen, and safe enough to explore their experiences without judgment.

My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but traditional, and I believe that’s part of what makes my work so meaningful. Before entering clinical practice, I spent years raising my children and supporting at-risk youth, leading community-based programs, and offering hands-on care to families in need. I’ve worked in shelters, schools, homes, and clinical settings, and no matter the space, my focus has always been the same: to walk alongside people through their most difficult moments and help them find clarity, strength, and hope.

I use a person-centered, trauma-informed lens in therapy, drawing from my training in evidence-based practices like EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My work is collaborative and strengths-based. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; instead, I work with clients to understand their lived experiences and tailor treatment to their needs, goals, and values.

I see therapy as a safe place to breathe, reflect, and grow. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, you're not alone. I’d be honored to support you in your journey.
